Poetry

I take a look at Poetry. How it inspires, the power of the messages, and symbolism. And a little bit of my own work as well as how I started writing.

The one of Poe you read, I have not heard that in ages. Thank you for reminding me of it. I have never heard the one from Emily Dickensian (sp sorry it's almost 6 am of me listening to this amazing pod cast) I agree with you on your dreams, just because you have been told to have realistic dreams, well all writers have the same dream, and just keep going and your dreams will come true. I can't wait to see the finished product of your books. :) Robert Frost is amazing, he is one of the greats. Walking down that path that is overgrown, we might not know what is down that way but what we find there could be something that others would not find beauty in but knowing where we came from walking this path we would be able to see the beauty that is there. Oh man I love that poem! I agree with you, when we do get to the end of the path we are different and we have grown, but what is the reward without the risk, and also of we never took those risks, we would not be where any of us are today and have the people around us that we love and care about. We all had to make a choice to walk down that road that led us all to where we are, and to where we are going together. Your poems were beautiful hun. The first one made me think of my grandma, her favorite flowers were roses, and it made me remember her garden, and even then all the fake flowers we would get for her. The second one, made me picture Hawai'i, I could see it as you described it. Even your description after reading the poem about the water, I could picture it. Thank you for that. I can't wait for the next podcast. Amazing job!
